Career Coach Kasey Atkins will quickly tell you that there’s no such thing as a “typical” path to success.
After starting out as a paralegal, Kasey worked for many years in outside sales. 20 years after earning her associate of science degree, she went back to school and earned her bachelor’s degree online through Ole Miss—all while being a mom to three children (she has four now). Speaking of a non-typical approach, her degree is in general studies with three minors: psychology, education and legal studies.
Kasey works closely with each student, providing guidance to put them on a solid pathway to success. Kasey believes in identifying students’ unique skills and goals, then matching them with the training and employment opportunities that best suits each individual.
Kasey says she is excited about being a Career Coach because she knows she is guiding students toward a bright future. “I am very thankful to be in a position where I can make a difference in students’ lives, just as others have made a difference in mine,” she said.
